Editions
The guide is dated and versioned rather than quietly edited, so you always know exactly what you have and when it was written. This page records what is current.
Published in two editions. The Method at six chapters, and the Production Edition at nineteen chapters with four complete production scripts and the finished opening pictures to run them with.
The Production Edition ships with the rejected pictures alongside the finished ones, each annotated with what was wrong. Two of them are worked through in full, with the wording that failed set beside the wording that fixed it.
The cover carries an edition number and the material is written against the tools as they behaved on that date. Nothing is silently altered after publication.
Where something depends on a particular tool that could change, the guide says so rather than presenting it as permanent.
The twenty-nine fixes address behaviour of the underlying approach rather than one product's interface, which is why they age far better than a tool tutorial.
If you hit something that contradicts what is written, say so. Reader corrections are the most useful thing we receive.
You are buying the edition current on the day you buy, and that copy is yours permanently. Future editions are not included in the price and no ongoing updates are promised.

Where something in the guide could not be resolved, it says so rather than guessing. The chapter on how platforms treat AI-generated content is the clearest example: it reports what was actually observed across two platforms with identical files, gives three competing explanations, and states plainly that it could not be settled from the outside.
That is a deliberate choice. Confident guesses cost readers money.
