Privacy Policy

Last updated 24 August 2026

This site is unusual in that it collects nothing about you at all. The only personal information involved in this business arrives when you buy something, and it is handled by Stripe. This page explains exactly what that means in plain terms.

01Who we are

The Logical AI is a business based in Manchester, United Kingdom. It sells written guides about producing first-person AI video.

For anything on this page, including any request about your data, write to info@thelogicalai.com. We are the data controller for the information described below.

02What this website collects

In short

Nothing. There are no cookies, no analytics, no tracking pixels, no advertising tags, no contact forms and no accounts. You can read every page of this site without giving us anything, and without us knowing you were here.

We mention this because most privacy policies say the opposite, and it is worth being specific. If that ever changes, this page will change with it and the date at the top will be updated.

03What our hosting provider records

This site is hosted by Vercel Inc. Like any web host, their servers keep standard technical logs when a page is requested. These typically include the IP address making the request, the browser and device type, the page requested and the time.

These logs exist to keep the site running, to protect it from abuse and to diagnose faults. We do not use them to build a profile of you, we do not combine them with anything else, and we do not ordinarily look at them at all.

Vercel acts as our processor for this. Their own privacy notice covers how they handle it.

04What happens when you buy something

Payments are taken by Stripe Payments Europe Ltd. Your card details are entered on Stripe's own systems and are never sent to us.

When you buy, Stripe collects the information it needs to take the payment, which normally includes your name, your email address, your card details and your billing address or country.

What we receive from Stripe is limited to:

  • Your name
  • Your email address
  • Your country
  • The last four digits of your card and its type
  • The amount, the date and whether it succeeded

We never see and never store your full card number, expiry date or security code. There is nowhere on our systems that could hold them.

05What we use it for

  • Delivering what you bought. Your email address is used to send you the files.
  • Sending you a receipt. Stripe emails this automatically.
  • Answering you. If you write in, we reply, and we keep the exchange while it is relevant.
  • Keeping our records straight. UK tax law requires us to keep records of sales.

The lawful bases are performance of a contract for delivering your purchase and answering support, and legal obligation for the tax records. We do not rely on legitimate interests to market to you, because we do not market to you.

We do not send promotional email, we do not sell or rent your details to anyone, and we do not share them for advertising.

06Who else sees your information

Only the companies that make the business function, and only for that purpose.

  • Stripe, to take the payment and issue the receipt.
  • Vercel, to serve this website.
  • Our email provider, to send you the files and to receive anything you send us.
  • HMRC and our accountant, where the law requires it.

Some of these are based outside the United Kingdom. Where information leaves the UK it is protected by the safeguards those providers have in place, such as standard contractual clauses.

07How long it is kept

  • Order and payment records: six years from the end of the relevant tax year, because HMRC requires it.
  • Email correspondence: until it is no longer needed, and normally no more than two years.
  • Server logs: for the short period our host retains them, which is a matter of weeks.

08Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask us to do any of the following, free of charge.

  • Tell you what we hold about you, and give you a copy
  • Correct anything that is wrong
  • Delete it, where we are not legally required to keep it
  • Restrict or object to how we use it
  • Send it to you, or to someone else, in a portable format

Write to info@thelogicalai.com and we will respond within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled it, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk, though we would rather you gave us the chance to put it right first.

09Security

The most useful security measure here is that there is very little to secure. We hold no card data, we run no database of customers, and this website stores nothing about you.

What we do hold sits inside Stripe and inside our email account, both protected by strong passwords and two-factor authentication. All traffic to this site is encrypted.

10Children

This is not intended for anyone under 16 and we do not knowingly sell to them.

11Changes to this policy

If this changes, the new version appears here and the date at the top changes. If the change is significant and we hold your email address because you have bought something, we will tell you.
